Paying Your Bill - Personal Insurance Policyholder Payment Options

Beginning September 1, 2011, you may have the opportunity to sign up for Online Bill Pay.

Changes to Your Billing Experience

Several important changes will take place when your insurance policy renews into our new billing system on or after September 1, 2011. The changes include:

  • Payment plan changes
  • Fee changes
  • Billing statement changes

 

When it comes to paying bills, everyone handles their finances differently. Fireman's Fund offers several payment options.

AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS
Control your insurance expenses offered through this convenient electronic payment method (there are no fees for this service) To enroll in electronic funds transfer (EFT)

MAIL PAYMENTS

We want to ensure you’re sending your payments to the right address as we convert to a new billing system.

Check the address on the invoice
The best way to ensure you send your payments to the right address is to check the address on your most recent invoice.

Other important tips to ensure that payments for the right policies are sent to the address of the right billing system:

  • You should not combine payments for different policies into the same check.
  • If you use online banking to pay your bill, you should consult your invoice to update the address information in your online banking system.
  • Until the conversion to the new billing system is complete in October, you may need to send payments to both the OLD and NEW addresses.

Where to Send Payments

  • Payments for invoices that HAVE converted into the new billing system should be sent to the new address.
  • Payments for policies that HAVE NOT yet converted to our new billing system should continue to be sent to the old address.

Want to take care of the whole bill now? Just return your invoice with a check for the full amount due. No service fees apply.

 

NEED TO MAKE AN IMMEDIATE PAYMENT?
You can call the toll free number on your bill to make a payment by either "Check By Phone" or "Card by Phone" anytime prior to the final due date of your premium.
